that balance lady's doable balance method explained

My Doable Balance Method

What is doable balance you ask?

Well let’s take a look at the two words individually.

Doable means able to be done, or attained. It might be difficult, but it’s still doable.

The definition of balance I like the most is a condition in which different elements are equal or in the correct proportions.

When we approach our health this way, we are saying that it will be difficult, it will require compromise, sometimes we will have to adjust our proportions, BUT it’s doable.

It’s possible and we are capable.

And that is all we need to make lasting changes in our life.

My Doable Balance Method is based on my belief that:

you mix what you enjoy, with what you need, through practical action.

This is what I apply to everything I do and create.

I don’t believe in eating whatever you want.

I don’t believe in pretending science doesn’t exist.

I do believe that we can eat things we enjoy and that nothing has to be off limits – however, while not off limits, there might be things that require more boundaries for you, after all, recovering alcoholics should probably create boundaries around alcohol – but that’s something you’ll have to determine.

Maybe you can eat donuts in a healthy, balanced manner, but need to create some boundaries around ice cream and boundaries is what balance looks like for you at this time in your life, and that’s okay!

I don’t believe we have to love every ounce of our bodies and never want to make any changes to it.

But I do believe that we should approach those changes in a healthy and practical way and when we’re in a healthy place mentally as well.

After participating in the diet, food, and fitness industries for years, you’re going to be left with a list of things to work through.

My approach considers the physical, nutritional, mental, and emotional habits that you’ve created along the way and I do my best to create resources that help.

I hope you found this explanation helpful, if you have questions, leave them below.
